How do I create a default email address in Outlook

How can I select a default POP3 address as my out going email address. I have 4 POP3 Email addresses? They all go to my Outlook. I have 2 Inboxes where 3 go to one Inbox and the other one goes to the other Inbox.

Now my question - How can I select a default POP3 address as my out going email address. The one I want is not the first one in the "Accounts" drop down list.

In Outlook 2007, go to Tools, then Account Settings. Be sure that you are on the e-mail tab. You should see a list of your email accounts. click on the one that you want to use as your default account. Just above the list you will see some choices such as New, Repair, Change and Set as Default. If you have highlighted one of the addresses, the "Set as Default" choice will be active. Just click on it. I should be similar in Outlook 2003.

This works on new messages. If you are replying to a message, it will send the reply from the account that you received it. However, you can change the sending account for any individual message by clicking on the "Account" button that is directly below the "Send" button. When clicked, it will give you a drop down list of all of your accounts and you can choose which one that you want.
